This page allows you to download various Corporate Models, Project Finance Models, Merger Models, Stock Price Analysis and other sample models that I have created over the years. Some people look for template models with which they can simply enter data and obtain results and these models may be useful for this type of analysis. This is not the idea of presenting you the template models and the model examples. As shown in Chapter 2 and in the modelling exercises, it is not difficult to create a financial model. Therefore, it is generally much better to create your own models than to struggle with the work that somebody else did. On the other hand, the tempate models and example models hopefully can give you some ideas with respect to presenting outputs, structuring inputs and extracting financial ratios. In other words, the models are presented more for you to take some ideas for your own models in terms of presentation, model structure, risk analysis, macros etc. As with all models, there are no protected sheets or private macros. You can modify the models, take macros from the models and see how each equation is used in the model.

Corporate Model Examples and Templates
The corporate models accept historic data, graphs important ratios for evaluating value and creating assumptions and allow you to quickly make a forecast. With these models you should be able tell a story of the the company history and use the historic data as a basis for the forecast. The two different download options involve different presentations of historic data. The model with the name of long-data allows you to incorporate more years of history into the graphs. The difference between the two models below is the length of history used in presenting the data. Examples of use of the template model are included in the case studies page.
This file has a corporate model as well as a number of different valuation concepts. The files include scenario analysis and tornado diagrams and demonstrate problems with the DCF model
These two files accept historic financial statements and have pages that use the historic data to generate a story about the company and then generate assumptions

Project Finance Model Examples and Templates
The alternative project finance model templates accept information about construction costs, operating characteristics and financing of projects. Three project finance models are available for download. The first is a general project finance model that includes cash flow sweeps, cash flow traps, senior and subordianted debt and other features. The second template model is designed specifically for wind projects and includes many risk analysis features along with the ability to either enter data in a detailed manner or a simple manner (it is the most comprehensive model and it includes many of the risk analysis and modelling techniques in other places.) The third model for alternative types of renewable facilities includes provisions for re-refinancing and comparison among different projects.
Note that if you are looking for other examples of project finance models, you can go to the case studies page and find many other examples.
This template has most of the concepts that we go over in courses and it may be worth stealing stuff from it. A power point presentation that works through documentation of the model is also included
The alternative merger and acquisition model models accept information about merger transactions including the purchase price, the debt financing and the retirment of existing securities. The models use alternative techniques to evaluate the benefits of a transaction.
